EPHESIANS

Ephesians "Faith / Believe 2 times as a verb and 8 as a noun

1. 1:13  believed πιστεύσαντες (Root: πιστευω, verb, aorist, active, participle, plural, nominative, masculine) "In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation—having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise,"  In Him, (Christ), you also, (Paul includes himself in the following process.) after listening to the message of truth, (the first part of "salvation" is always facts. The facts of the good news message. Without the facts, the following part is not possible. Wrong information leads to incorrect thinking, and belief in incorrect information is just as false as the message. Paul's next words, "the gospel of your salvation," are based upon the following words, "having also believed."  The conclusion is that all who believe in Christ, facts, then faith in Christ are sealed in Him, in Christ with the Holy Spirit. 2. 1:15 πίστιν faith (Root: πιστευω, noun, accusative, singular, feminine) "For this reason I too, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which exists among you and your love for all the saints,"

3. 1:19 πιστεύοντας believe (Root: πιστευω, verb, present, active, participle, plural, accusative, masculine)15 For this reason I too, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which exists among you and your love for all the saints, 16 do not cease giving thanks for you, while making mention of you in my prayers; 17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him. 18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. 

4. 2: πίστεως, faith (Root: πιστευω, noun, genitive, singular, feminine)      "7 so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; 9 not as a result of works, so that no one may boast."

5. 3:12   πίστεως, faith (Root: πιστευω, noun, genitive, singular, feminine)    11 This was in accordance with the eternal purpose which He carried out in Christ Jesus our Lord, 12 in whom we have boldness and confident access through faith in Him. 13 Therefore I ask you not to lose heart at my tribulations on your behalf, for they are your glory.

6. 3:17  πίστεως, faith (Root: πιστευω, noun, genitive, singular, feminine) 16 "that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth,"

7. 4:5 πίστις faith (Root: πιστευω, noun, nominative, singular, feminine) 4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all."

​8. 4:13   πίστεως, faith (Root: πιστευω, noun, genitive, singular, feminine)                 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ; 13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ. 14 As a result, we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming;

9. 6:16 πίστεως, faith (Root: πιστευω, noun, genitive, singular, feminine)                  15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

10. 6:23 πίστεως, faith (Root: πιστευω, noun, genitive, singular, feminine)    23 Peace be to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 24 Grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ [c]with incorruptible love.
