Did You Know the word repent is not used in the Gospel of John?
The noun form of "believe," which is "faith," is not used in the Gospel of John, the adjective form is used two times in John 20:27, and the verb forms come to 97. There are 99 uses of the word believe in the Gospel of John, 97 verb forms, and two adjective forms.
Root Verb is πιστεύω - The Letters and numbers represent the abbreviation of its morphology in the context where the verse is located. Just in case I did not get it right, be sure to look it up and verify it. As to the number of occurrences, it is my hope to be as exact as possible.

0. πιστεύ ω root verb, present, active, indicative 1st person, singular "I believe, or I am believing"
The English letters corresponding to the Greek in πιστεύ is "p i s t e u," and the "ω" is a long "o" sound. You will notice in all the words listed the "root" is present, and the pre and post-augmentations are those parts that determine what kind of verb it is, tense, gender, number, and person.
Parts of a Verb its morphology
The first letter indicates the kind of word "V means Verb."
The second letter indicates Tense, These are the tenses, and in the morphology, it uses the first letter of these words/tenses to indicate which it is.
A. Present Describes an ongoing action in the present
B. Future Describes an action that will happen in the future
C. Aorist Describe a simple action in the PAST
D. Imperfect Describe an action that was ongoing in the PAST
E. Perfect Describe an action that was completed in the PAST but has results in the present
F. Pluperfect Same as Perfect EXCEPT the result is not with us today; it ceases to be present. At one time in the past, it was "Perfect," but not anymore.
The third letter indicates "Voice" there are three voices.
A. Active Voice - action performed by the subject
B. Middle Voice - action is for its own self or unto itself
C. Passive Voice - action is upon itself / to itself
The fourth letter indicates the mood
A. Indicative mood - the idea is certainty/reality
B. Subjunctive mood - probability/ maybe "might - might not"
C. Optative mood - it too is probability and maybe. It is further removed as to reality than the subjunctive mood and is hardly ever used.
D. Imperative mood - very simple "command."
The fourth letter can also indicate two more things
A. It is a participle indicated by "P."
B. It is an infinitive indicated by "N."
The fifth position is number meaning First, Second or Third person, or it may be "-" when not applicable.
The sixth position indicates singular or plural.
When the verb is highlighted in blue, it speaks of salvation unto eternal life. Otherwise, it refers to some other form of salvation not associated with eternal life. The word "save" or "saved" can refer to something else other than eternal life. The noun form of the verb believe, "faith," is not used in the Gospel of John. Sometimes the word "believe" refers to not believing, as the context points out.

John 20:27 uses two adjectives, one negatively and the other positively.
94. A. ἄ πιστος is an adjective nominative case, masculine gender, singular in number "un-believing ἄ πιστος" the alpha makes it negative, not believing, unbelieving.
95. B. πιστός - notice it does not have "Alpha" before Pi, so the one with alpha means unbelieving, and the one without it means believing. This one is also an adjective in the nominative case, masculine gender, singular in number
